Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Jianhui Gao (“I”, “me”) handle information for:

• this website (App Garden)
• MedTrack / 智药箱
• Yueji / 悦己美妆管家
• Tutor Desk / 课伴

I build small, independent apps. I do not run an advertising network and I do not sell personal data.

1. Short summary

• App records (medicines, beauty products, tutoring data) are stored on your device.
• There is no account system required to use the core features of these apps.
• Purchases are processed by Apple, not by me directly.
• If you use photo recognition in MedTrack, a package photo (or a crop of it) may be sent to a third-party AI provider only to read printed text/dates, then the result is returned to your device.
• These apps are not medical advice and do not prescribe or recommend medicines.

Apple’s App Store privacy labels for the current listings state “Data Not Collected” for Apple’s nutrition-label categories. This policy still describes processing that can happen on your device or during optional recognition, so you can make an informed choice.

2. This website

The marketing website may use standard hosting logs (for example IP address, user agent, and requested URL) provided by the hosting provider to operate and secure the site.

If analytics are enabled later, this section will be updated before those tools start collecting data.

3. Information handled by the apps

3.1 On-device content you create

Depending on the app, you may store:

• MedTrack: medicine names, photos, expiry dates, locations, supply notes, reminders, visit lists, and backups you export
• Yueji: beauty/skincare product records, open dates, reminders, and related notes
• Tutor Desk: student profiles, lessons, schedules, packages, payments, and feedback drafts

This content stays on your device unless you export/share it (for example AirDrop, Files, or the system share sheet).

3.2 Permissions

Apps may request system permissions only when needed, such as:

• Camera / Photos — to capture or attach product images
• Notifications — for expiry, dose, or lesson reminders
• Network — for optional recognition, update checks, or App Store purchases

You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.

3.3 Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. I do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.

3.4 MedTrack — optional AI photo recognition (important)

When you use photo / package recognition in MedTrack, the app may transmit the image (or a processed crop) to a third-party AI vision service — currently providers such as Moonshot / Kimi and/or OpenAI — so printed information (for example a name or expiry date) can be suggested back to you.

• Purpose: help fill inventory fields faster
• Not for diagnosing conditions, recommending drugs, or advising dosage
• Not for selling data or building advertising profiles
• You can still enter information manually if you prefer not to use recognition

Third-party providers process the request under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not photograph content you are not comfortable sending for recognition.

3.5 Tutor Desk — AI feedback drafts

If you use AI-assisted parent feedback, the text you provide for drafting may be sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a draft message. Review every draft before sending it to a parent. Do not include sensitive information you do not want processed by a third party.

4. What I do not do

• I do not sell your personal information
• I do not use these apps to show third-party ads
• I do not provide medical advice, prescriptions, or dosing guidance through MedTrack

5. Data retention and deletion

On-device records remain until you delete them or remove the app. Exported backups are under your control. If you contacted me by email, I keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond and meet legal obligations.

6. Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13. MedTrack’s App Store age rating may be higher because of occasional medical-related information categories. Do not use the apps to store a child’s sensitive health information beyond what you are comfortable keeping in a personal inventory tool.

7. International users

I am an independent developer. Servers used for optional AI recognition or website hosting may be located outside your country. If that is not acceptable, disable recognition features and avoid sending content off-device.

8. Changes

I may update this policy as the apps or website change. The “Updated” date at the top will change when material edits are published.
